MyHeritage: Family tree - Genealogy - Celeb - Collage - Morph

Well, I think that title says it all. It HAS been quite a while since I've utilized this site. So, here I am,....what seems like wasting time writing a meaningless "blog" (as they say --- who is "they" anyway?). But at the same time, it's not completely meaningless. I am keeping in touch with people (as terrible as I am with this venue) and that is worth it all. I always appreciate the idea of being close to the people I care about. Though, I must say that I think I'm lulled into a false security because of sites like these that I am close to people when in actuality, I'm not. Knowing vaguely what friends, family, comarades, and jane doe is not the same as actually spending time with them. Now, I'm not critizing these aforementioned "networking" sites. I love the fact that I can "talk" to people at the whir of machinery and a click of a button, but I find that I have to be careful that I don't just settle for this electronic form of communication. I need to make an effort to really reach out to those around me and to those who aren't so close. With that being said,....could you all message me or email me your mailing address? I want to try something a bit old fashioned -- snail-mail. So, yes.

And now, to the real reason I started this post. (I know, right? I ACTUALLY had a point for writing.) This is what I've been up to since the last time I wrote.

 I was planning to join staff with Campus Crusade for Christ for a year as an intern. That didn't work out. So, now I'm looking into job options, studying for my GREs, and applying to be a subsitute teacher. Who would have thunk. I didn't really intend to ever teach, but apparently, I might be ok at it. We'll see. Just be praying that all goes well,....or rather, all goes according to God's will and that I'm sensitive enough and smart enough to go along with Him.
